A simple sign of affection like feeding your pets becomes an act of generosity toward all animals.

Almo Nature is on the side of all animals. In parallel with its mainstream business Almo Nature is developing solidarity-based projects designed to offer concrete assistance to less fortunate animals. In 2009 Almo Nature donated 630.000 daily ratios for cats in need rescued by 151 associations in Italy and more than 370.000 daily ratios were donated to the Charity Association Lega Nazionale per la Difesa del Cane. This year Almo Nature is running similar initiatives in France and Germany and for our first solidarity initiative in the UK, we chose the Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, based in East Sussex.

Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare was founded by Miss M. Raymonde-Hawkins M.B.E. in 1952 in order to prevent and relieve cruelty to animals and to protect them from unecessary suffering. The Centre today takes cares of 1500 unwanted and abandoned animals each year. Dogs, cats and other companion animals are found new caring homes while others remain in Raystede's care for the rest of their days.

A.Coombs Pet Centre is a specialist pet store established in 1934 and based in Brighton and Hove. Robert Harper, the young and enthusiast manager and friend of the Centre, indicated Raystede to Almo Nature as the charity to address the donation and agreed to play a central role in the initiative.
