Almo Nature Dog Contest di Almo Nature had great success: we received many interesting works, each one very different one from the others.
The choise was not easy, but finally we decided: the winner is Lisa Persson Baagøe, a painter working in in Gothenburg, Sweden.

«Freezing a gesture, capturing a state of mind, that is what appeals to me.
I aim for a kind of obviousness in my paintings.
A calmness in the middle of chaos.
Almost everytime there appears a silhouette of a person.
Somebody is or has just been there, all alone or with others.
I wonder what those people are doing there.
Or are they merely memories and thoughts that somehow got stuck on my canvas?
That is a lovely ongoing mystery».
